Postdoc with Sharad Ramanathan

A postdoctoral position is available in the lab of Sharad Ramanathan to study the dynamics of signal transduction in yeast. Our lab uses a combination of experimental and theoretical approaches to understand the dynamics of the yeast MAP kinase pathway, and how cells integrate signals from the environment — such as changes in glucose levels, pheromones and osmolar pressure — to decide on an appropriate transcriptional response.

We are interested in attracting candidates interested in signal transduction, with a strong molecular biology background and experience with Saccharomyces cerevisiae. In addition to helping such individuals with their research, our lab will help them to learn basic modeling and mathematical tools.

If you are interested, please send your application and CV to this email address, along with names of and contact information for three references. Letters of recommendation from these references should be sent separately. The initial position will be for one year, to be renewed yearly for an additional two years.

Harvard University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
