Faculty PositionsThe FAS Center for Systems Biology has two postitions at the rank of assistant progressor (tenure track) available. This year we are particularly interested to hire in the field of microbial evolution & ecology and the field of physical properties of biological systems, but will consider outstanding candidates in other fields. Our Center works in close collaboration with the Department of Systems Biology at Harvard Medical School, the MGH Center for Systems Biology and the Harvard Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering (HIBIE) to build a campus-wide community of faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and students working on systems biology. Applications are due by December, 1 2008. Please submit a curriculum vitae, research proposal (up to 5 pages), summary of previous research accomplishments (up to 2 pages) and PDFs of up to 3 publications to http://www.lsdiv.harvard.edu/csb/facultysearch/. During the application process you will be asked to give the e-mail addresses of at least three colleagues who have agreed to write letters of recommendation for you.
