Axon GenePix 4000B and 4000A Scanners

These confocal laser scanners are used to analyze standard two-color (Cy3 and Cy5) microarrays. GenePix software allows for adjustable scan area and resolution, as well as automated spot finding. The Genepix 4000B scans at resolutions between 5 and 100 microns. For more information, see http://www.moleculardevices.com.

Agilent Scanner

This laser-based scanner can be used for Agilent microarrays and homemade two-color (Cy3 and Cy5) microarrays. The carousel enables automated scanning of up to 48 slides. For more information, see http://www.chem.agilent.com.

This white-light, CCD-based scanner uses filters to suit your application. Currently, the Bauer Core has the following filters: Alexa 350, Alexa 488, Cy3 (532), and Cy5 (635). For more information, see http://www.api.com.
