Flow Cytometry

Function

We provide access to analytical flow cytometry and cell sorting equipment. Users may be trained to perform their own analysis on our LSRII. Sorting services are provided by the core facility on our FACSAria and MoFlo. Laboratories that require sorting on a frequent basis can be trained to run the FACSAria themselves. Frequent users may also be trained to run their own samples on the MoFlo with assistance from the staff. In very rare cases, users may be trained to use the MoFlo independently. Users must pass a practical test before being granted independent access to this instrument.
